This might be a weird question, but I always thought that when I walked with only my socks on it felt somehow off when I was at my work place in the office. It does not only feel weird in my head but also the way they touch the ground. Like I somehow forgot how to properly walk.

It does not happen when I am at home! Even though I have a similar ground (parquet). I believe I also have that when I am at a friends place but not as much…

I thought about making a meme about that this morning but thinking about it more its not really that interesting. Still curious what you guys think because none of my coworkers think it was relatable in any way and looked at me funny.

Felt weird might delete later.

I have a pair of work shoes that I leave under my desk in the office to change into, so sometimes I’ll briefly walk around the office in socks if I get distracted midway through that process. And yeah I guess that feels a bit weird?

But anywhere else (in my house, a friend’s or family member’s house) I take my shoes off at the door, so walking around in socks feels normal.

I’ve never experienced not being able to walk properly like that though!

It really is weird and hard to explain. I guess its just because my brain is so used to walking with shoes on when being in the office space that it expects it to feel different when walking.

Starting to think I will forever be alone with this ;(
