I do get the desire to have something more sovereign maybe even decentralised, but this is some real smooth brain behaviour. I even think they are following some sort of agenda, and just really do not know better.
hello :)

I do get the desire to have something more sovereign maybe even decentralised, but this is some real smooth brain behaviour. I even think they are following some sort of agenda, and just really do not know better.
Whoa, I went from “Hmm. We already have meta search engine aggregator at home. Do we really need a new one?” to “Whoa, that is pretty! Ughh… but is that AI that im seeing?! loads Wowee that is just a snippet from Wikipedia and various other places!!! It also shows me where the results are coming from. This is really cool! The user interface is copied over but there is no harm in that, its super clean” in like 0.0001 seconds!
I like it alot and will be trying it out. I like that it is more transparent where results are coming from compared to DDG.
Just no a fan of the name, but its just the project it looks like its white label enough to make your own “CI”. And I would definitely not have come up with a better one.
Also like your take on AI, I have a similar stance, very sensible.

I was just getting home picking up my new second hand Pixel 3a to install PostmarketOS on. Wish me luck :)

Any picross game. Don’t have android so I don’t have anything specific to recommend, but it was my goto time killer before switching to books.

Oh wait, i forgot i was stupid 😭

I think the amount would go down though if we all poisen our data, making it useless.

Don’t wanna see you slacking doing low-value searches! Brb writing a a script generating some high-level net traffic, so they waste more money on me.

The last couple of weeks ive been cleaning up old accounts i had still around, but kept quite a few up most notable one of forums I used to frequent many of them dead but not all, and with that I also created new ones. One thing I have noticed is that you really do not need a critical mass for a forum to “function” its fine if there is no post for a day if the discussions you have are valuable.
This chart shows the problem fairly well. (Even if the scale is set to make a point)

Forced to use GitHub Professional and lost count how often GitHub is just standing in my way with things not responding often times without any error message.

Oh wow, you just blew my mind. I am in fact thinking about littering! I was a bit suspicious about me not realizing the true meaning sooner, but did not look into it further. This makes a lot more sense now, thank you for clearing this up. :)

TIL that “loitering” does not mean leaving garbage in public spaces. Ive heard the term but never expected it to mean standing around idle, this is so stupid.
EDIT: nvm i was thinking about “littering”. english is hard.

I feel the same. Seems like you can easily install something like RockNIX on one of those handhelds running Android, but having a big name like Valve releasing an ARM-powered Switch Lite looking handheld would really push things.
Cannot remember when the last time was that I was that excited for the future of gaming :)

I really dig the unique style and more mature tone. Hope Nintendo is trying out new things for their next Zelda game. (Even though I honestly dont see myself buying anymore of their consoles).
This de-compilation is based of the GameCube version I think. Guess so porting it to PC feels more natural.

Yea, its unfortunate that most ROM hacks are built on the ROM itself only playable in an emulator/real hardware. (I mean understandably so, these decomp projects are fairly new). Its just the beginning though I see quite a lot of hacks for sm64coopdx/sm64pc I can see that happening here as well with the proper tools and framework.

I do love me some /forms!

It really is been using it more than I anticipated.
I did actually added an exception for on device AI for the newly added about:translations as I don’t see much of a problem with that.
Just found out that the Gimp alternative “Pinta” shares its name with a rare human skin disease caused by infection with the spirochete treponema carateum (apparently). Which of course is miles better than sharing it with a slur for disabled people, but still not the best SSO.
You know I actually find it rather interesting that you can see the age of an digital image. Even though its just bits and bytes.
