To be inured means to be so used to something—usually something unpleasant or difficult—that you are no longer bothered by it. You’ve essentially built up a “thick skin” or become toughened.
I slightly misused it, my bad. It’s usually used in context of “it doesn’t matter” - ie I meant “criticism matters” but you’re right that I didn’t use it strictly.according to the dictionary definition.
I probably just meant “immune” but wasn’t thinking deeply about it.
