HR has always been the laziest bunch of fuckers in a company, so it is not surprising they want to use AI.
Here I thought it was hellish when I was looking for a job in '23 and learned that having a hand-edited resume describing my 20 years of experience was the worst thing I could do and needed to feed it through an LLM so it could be more readable by other LLM who will summarize it and feed that to somebody in HR that will ignore almost all of it.
I want AI to do my laundry and wash the dishes, fuck this noise.
The problem is, any robot that can do the laundry can also operate a gun.
Your position is that the reason we don’t have chore robots is that they could shoot someone?
So… maybe we don’t give them guns?
Do you really think you’ll be making the choice whether or not they have guns?
Smh the same people talking about ‘equality’ suddenly don’t want Mr Beep Boop taking an AK-47 to the nearby school. It’s one or the other, sweetie.

The problem is that someone somewhere will give them guns and to deter those bad actors you’re going to want a fleet of killbots yourself.
There’s always an asshole thinking of how to use tech to kill someone.
Too late, then the robots with guns win. We need to follow suit.
Yeah, but what if they give them guns?
we… shoot them with… our guns?
Is that really a problem though…?
Video frame from the interview was just released:

Fucking problem with finding a job today. It Fucking all AI gate keeping. We are being kept trapped by it.

CyberdynePalantir to inevitably deploy robots against people in the future!Lee Biggins, chief executive at CV-Library, says its research is a “wake-up call” to recruiters that they must use AI to support human intuition, not replace it. “We’re seeing the start of a vicious cycle.”
So after several years, he is only just feeling negative repercussions to widespread adoption of human replacement AI? That tells that Biggins either hasn’t once witnessed AI media generation like Midjourney, Suno or Sora doing an artist’s job poorly, or a search AI like Gemini with rapidly decreasing reasoning power, forgetting recent points and inventing results, or AI chat assistants replacing every shitty static support line’s “Input not recognised” with “I’m sorry, I didn’t understand that,” while running processing units in data centres around the world so hot it’s rapidly raising the global average temperature faster than all the existing conglomerate data centres ever did; or he thinks those were absolutely fine and he only draws the line at damaged employment practices.
