3·1 day agoThe models themselves are actually entirely deterministic. The non-determinism you see is actually artificially introduced at the application layer to make the output seem more human. It’s usually controlled by a setting called “heat”, which when set to 0 will give completely reproducible results.

I’ve always seen that as a bit of a problem actually. You lose a port when you are charging. I’d rather have the USB port for some peripheral and a dedicated power connection.
Walking 20 minutes just to find out they weren’t home… Good times.
