We’re not happy til you’re not happy is a pretty based slogan
My favorite Reel Big Fish album
Fetch
'we’re not happy ‘til you’re not happy’
Well, I’m not happy trying to read that, so… Mission successful?
Slogan for a themed cafe for masochists where all the staff are sadists?
In 1995, the company attempted to expand to Europe and opened a restaurant in London,[5] but the effort was abandoned and the restaurant was sold in early 1996
People in London just thought it was a normal restaurant
We’re not
Til happy
You’re notWe’re You’re
Not till not
Happy
Me too, buddy. Me too.
At least they wrote “'til” with one L. I’ll give them a pass here, as it’s an increasingly rare bit of adequacy.
I don’t know whether it ever took hold in the US, but “till” without an apostrophe is valid in the UK and not only is it not a contraction of “until”, it predates it and is the root of the word.
Thanks! TIL :)
till*
It’s also valid (and the standard form) in the U. S.
But the assumption it’s a contraction of “until” has been around for a while, I think.
I’m with Godzilla on this one.
