I remember when Ford blocked Tesla from using the name “Model E” and elon was visibly upset, like the mental 6 year old he is, that the best he could do was S3XY. I chuckle about that pretty much every time I see a model 3.

The model s, the model 3, the model x, the model y… REALLY!>!>
It is at least why the model Y and the model 3 got their names. I think the model S was named by Tesla’s founders and the X may be just because musk has been obsessed with naming things that since PayPal (if not before).
The 3 was supposed to be an E but but Ford owned the naming rights.
But the goal was to make… the naming was supposed to spell out SEXY… that’s so embarrassing.
