                What a relief, now it’s someone who does the same shit except he’s pro-EU, so he only harms minorities without inconveniencing us

                  I dont know if you know him personally to be able to judge him like that but from his public appearances so far that doesnt seem to be the case. I dont know what you would expect to happen? Some brain washing pills dissolved in the drinking water so hungarians stop being conservative? Changing a whole nation led by propaganda for decades doesnt happen overnight. Magyar is pretty much the best anyone could have hoped for in this election.

                    I just don’t think this is really worth celebrating. He was in the same party as Orban, their views aren’t that different except that he’s pro-EU and Orban wasn’t. It just feels like we’re celebrating that he’s not opposing our own interests anymore without actually caring for the people in that country.
