Unless the “slamming” involves a head in a car door, or equivalent situation, can we please stop using this verb in mass media when it comes to simple criticism.

On the same note, claiming that someone “blasts” someone else should include the use of actual explosives.

They just want to keep Kamala’s name in the media…

The wealthy are panicking that they don’t control the dnc, so we’re going to see the media keep acting like this shit does anything.

Counter propaganda for that recent poll where Harris got “slammed” into 3rd place among prospective Democrats.

Harris should have run for governor in CA to re-enforce her ability to win a statewide election. Should have been a layup for her. But you don’t come off an L like she delivered in '24 and expect to be a starter. That’d just be silly.

          The wealthy

It’s not often used even in our hemisphere, but using “they” and clarifying in the next sentence has been around for a while, before Shakespeare and shipping criminals to your continent at least.

It’s definitely archaic tho, and if I had realized I was doing it at the time, I probably would have changed the phrasing.

She’s not allowed opinions of her own? Are you secretly a supreme Court justice with that nullification?

I’ve always gone with “slammed” should be followed by “through the announcer’s table”.
