I feel like the punchline of these comics is increasingly just protagonist slays a strawman.

Like the punch line here is “ChatGPT users use AI to form their opinion,” which makes the first two panels just the protagonist making someone they don’t like look stupid.

I know people that actually use ChatGPT for everything. Any question that comes up is straight to ChatGPT. It’s wild out there.

Me too. That doesn’t mean that i like a comic about it that just says that exact same thing with no punchline where the insufferable creator inserts themselves as the smart person.

You’re correct, pizzagate comics is kind of just about ragebaiting people she doesn’t like. Personally not my thing, but its popular.

Yeah, but usually you have to construct a joke with a punchline. Jokes usually involve subverting expectations. This character says they use AI for everything and then they do that.

No, the difference is most comic artists have once in their life held an original thought. The same is not true for the sexist PizzaCake.

Where’s the straw man? People like this exist, and worse. Ever meet someone with AI psychosis?

Pizzacakecomics consistently goes for the lowest hanging fruit available. They’re not even going for comedy most of the times, just plain ragebait as someone else here noticed. Which explains their high attention rate I guess.

The only thimg i miss about reddit is that they saw through the low effort pizzacake comics. It’s cool that no one is bothered by their low effort comics where they insert themselves into the smart witty person. But holy shit is it jarring.

        I like to molest children.

I think that is wrong an i hate you.

Wow, what a smart and funny comic.

I mean, if pizzacake made a comic about Jeffrey Epstein and had him saying “I like to molest children”, the only problem I’d have with that is that it’s a little too on the nose. Again, it’s not a strawman if it’s true.

That’s what Pizzacake and lots of the artists on r/comics do, “I depicted you as the soyjack and myself as the Chad, therefore I win.” But with more lines and colour.

There’s another comic that does it all the time, a caricature says something stupid just so the protagonist (another self-insert, go figure) can declare a popular opinion. Sometimes, another character will even comment on how smart they are lol
