Brits do.
Or they say “err”
Whereas I, I say “äh”, “ähm” or “öhm”

Congratulations you have one
Looks like sesame, black sesame, linseed and sunflower seed
Freudian slip?
First it will help more people, then it hurts.

I see what you did there
As far as I know, in none of the continent models (be it 5, 6 or 7 continents) is central America its own continent. It’s a region of North America. And Latin America is a cultural-linguistic category.
But feel free to look up “North America” on Wikipedia.
I’ve seen an Irish youtuber that works in a bakery and talks a lot about cakes as well. I suspect it might be an Anglosphere thing.
In German and French, there’s Bäckerei and boulangerie for bread related stuff and some sweet wares like croissant or fruit tarts. But full on cakes you would get in a Konditorei or pâtisserie.
Just to add to your wonderful list of information:
Soccer as a term was adopted in North America
except for Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Cuba, Belize…
At this point it’s easier to say “was adopted by the USA and Canada”.
“bakery specialising in bread” just looks so wrong

I don’t like 5 minute recipes. Giving the dough time is what is fun to me. And it tastes better. 5 minute baguette probably tastes heavily of yeast.
Most of the German states’ uniforms were dark blue or dark green, kinda boring or too serious.
Most recognisable and unique would be the Hessian Hussars with their yellow pants and shirt, white fittings and a light blue jacket.

In my country every hunted animal is inspected. And hunter is a regulated job title.
Even among the other stress timed languages, English is especially reductive. In German, a final “en” gets folded into the word; “haben” becomes “ham”. But in almost all other cases, unstressed vowels retain their pronunciation.
Motor as two distinct o-sounds and doesn’t become moter/motur. Or the word “specialised” could have the “e” maybe but def the “ia” turn into a schwa. Meanwhile “spezialisiert” retains every vowel as they were.
Same as every american sketch comic trying to do a German accent, does a Brüno imitation (Sasha Baron Cohen’s character).
Brüno’s accent is really good, being a mixture of many characteristics, one of them German, another being typical gay speech patterns.
So now everyone who thinks they’re doing a German accent, does a gay German Brüno voice. Not quite right.

My exact thought. Btw Palina Rojinski and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf.
Edith: yep that’s them
