“our browser is so good, we have to offer bogus prizes to get people to switch to it!”
when peaceful change is made impossible, what else is left but violence? Surrendering?
maybe it really would be worth the effort to learn 🤔

i think the rich are doing so horrible stuff that if exposed it will either finally be the last straw, or it will expose that we dont deserve to live as species if it isnt.

hackers wasting their talents on petty things like this. they should dig up evidence of corruption and what the rich are doing behind closed doors and such and demand ransom for that. then release it anyway after getting paid and get lauded as heroes on top of getting money.

or rather their foot at the door. they just need SOMETHING and once they get started they can just keep making things worse. its never about protecting kids.

its sickening that the billionaires could just openly reveal all the horrifying things they do to people and no one would care, but only if things directly affect your personal life people care even a little. They could livestream themselves cannibalizing a live child and it wouldnt cause anything but momentary outrage that maybe lasts a bit longer than average.
Its good that people are rising up against this shit because all the negatives are true, but at the same time i have started to feel we really dont deserve good things.

that is my point exactly. doesnt matter how nice the game looks, if its uncreative crap nothing will save that.
yes, i can get behind the configurability, lets you make the program into your own personal tool nicely. my problem is that you have to do it in such difficult and unintuitive way. though it has been very long time since i last took a look at vim, so maybe things have improved and its easier to configure now, i doubt it though.
So it would be nice if getting into it was easier even if you havent used it as your main editor for last 50 years. not being able to even exit vim without looking up guide for it demonstrates this quite nicely.
i cant understand all the vim hyping. its probably very neat and can do whatever, but what good is that if it takes awful amount of bother to learn everything by heart since interface has been designed to be as unfriendly as possible. it doesnt have to be fit for office worker, but at least some ease of use is needed.

to me, aaa = mark of inferior quality, barring some exceptions
