Every time someone mentioned any brand name on reddit, some idiot screeched “r/hailcorporate”, like it was some kind of gotcha. I wonder if the guy here on Lemmy that was removing artists’ signatures from comics was one of them.

Someone would ask for advice, you’d say, I had a good experience with this item, and the “r/hailcorprate” shills would show up.

Maybe he had a steaming hot bowl of spicy chili that night.

Yeah, I still believe that if he had said, “Listen to Dr. Fauci here, and buy my 2020 Trump hats,” he would have coasted to an easy win that year.

But his own arrogance wouldn’t let him do that, of course.

Whoa whoa whoa. We can’t just let people die until we’ve extracted their economic output, up to the point where the cost of the treatment exceeds expected remaining economic output.

The best part about this is that even after the whale head and other similar stories, he still doesn’t stop to think, “hey, maybe I shouldn’t share that story.” He doesn’t understand the problem, clearly, but he also doesn’t even grasp that there is a problem with these stories.

Remember the reporter (for the WaPo, I think) that was caught on camera reacting to one of the more insane things that Trump or his administration said in the White House briefing room during his first term? She became a brief, minor celebrity.

I read that they are now spreading similar pictures with Biden instead of Trump to normalize it. But Biden didn’t post the picture of himself as God…Trump did.

On the other hand, actual line printers worked exactly like they look in movies.
