Benefit of pots is it doesn’t go out when the Internet does (unless your provider has a VOIP backend, but usually those would be more robust than your home.)
It also is a second source of electricity coming into the house should there be a power outage.
I kind of wish I could have an old school pots line, even though I run my own VOIP system.
They are hard to put out, but if you want them to burn all you really need is a safe place to do it. So in a big crucible with some type of fume extraction so they aren’t crazy polluting the air. As long as the heat has somewhere safe to go and there isn’t anything else to catch on fire, burning things is easy.

Yea. It seems wild the more I think about it that either party can be the same as the president. It’s become clear that people on Congress think they work FOR the president when one of their duties is explicitly checking and opposing the president.
I’ve seriously considered getting a newspaper. I know I wouldn’t read it every day, but it would probably help ground me into my local community better and keep me a bit more sane.
