  • People review bomb games that add or take away things that didn’t even affect gameplay in the slightest.

For Lunacid, there was an update that allowed you to choose your character’s pronouns when you started a game; this has literally nothing to do with how you play the game, how NPCs interact with you, or literally anything other than just some flavor text. If you go into the steam forums and read reviews for the game you’ll see so many idiots harping on and on about how the game “used to be” great until they added pronouns, and now it’s literally unplayable.

  • I’m the exact opposite, in a different, but similar way that the other commenter is.

I will fall asleep trying to play almost any turn-based/tactical RPG you give me. It’s just too slow for me, and I can’t focus on stats or stacking effects that much. That’s why I like real-time action games. I’ve been playing the hell out of Fallout 4 lately and that is probably the fastest-paced game out of the entire series. There’s snappy gunplay in first- and third-person with a dedicated bash/grenade button, and you can pop out from behind cover when you aim. Also the whole customizing and modification system with the workshop and settlements.

  • I’m a little surprised everyone is mostly agreeing that he’s doing this because he’s stupid. I mean yes, he’s a fucking idiot, but someone told him to start a blockade. And as we all know from the first one a week ago, it’s only gonna jack up prices on literally everything even more than they are right now.

It’s all a plan by the billionaire class that openly runs our country now to keep inflating prices so consumers don’t have anything.

Edit: like c/BamboodPanda said, “Oil determines the price of shipping. Shipping determines the price of everything. They want to jack up everything.”

  • It came out when I was a kid, and the humor was a big hit for me.

I actually replayed the first two games last year on PCSX2, and imo they actually hold up. Maybe some of the humor hasn’t aged particularly well, but none of it is really offensive or anything. It’s basically a village of jungle natives all acting and behaving kinda like modern white people (also voiced by white people, but eh. It was like 2002-2005).

As far as gameplay, it’s alright. I think the first is better as it has more going on for it. The sequel definitely feels cheaper by comparison. I remember playing the “third” one (*Great Juju Challenge) but that one is basically just a Mario Party knockoff.

ETA: also the show first aired actual years after the games had even released. I remember thinking it was weird that they waited so long to make it into a show, and that the games’ popularity wasn’t as strong anymore (or perhaps never was).
