For sure, but it’s the rate at which the French use them which always blows me away. And I know I shouldn’t have to say this, and I know it will be ignored anyway, but yes obviously this isn’t every single French person.

I remember a specifically bad example from a person who was, if I remember correctly, introducing their website where they would speak in French and you could listen for practice. Great, sounds good. Except! I couldn’t follow them because they couldn’t pass three words, maximum, without a “uhh”, “beuhh”, or “eeeuhhh”. It was an extreme example, but I think about it all the time.

It all reeks of trying way too hard to hard to convince everyone how laid back they are but they’re some of the most stressed out people I know. I have to wonder if it’s the fact that I live in Montréal so we get a fair number of Parisien.nes here.

The French was probably too perfect. Shoulda been:

Dude, they couldn’t even keep Trump’s second term out of the way. The good ol’ centrist Democrats were even energizing people for a couple months and shut it all down in favour of supporting Israel and having Harris spend more time with Liz Cheney than her own running mate.

His biggest failures, as I’ve heard it, revolve around the fact that he only cares about making short-term profits and doesn’t understand human beings. Steve Jobs did a lot of telling him to go fuck himself back in the day, to the great benefit of kot only the company, but to the customers. Why he was put in as the next guy to lead the company is beyond me.

All to get to a job that is actually taking a hit by requiring employees to be there for more than 6hrs a day and to which you spend way too much time commuting. Not to mention that there’s a good chance we’re literally built to have varying sleep schedules, originally to watch for predators, so half the population is just getting completely fucked because the only people we consider valuable are those whose day starts earlier.

Opposite corners first, then the rest is easy. I do wish the standard would be for deeper mattresses, though.
