I find it hilarious that you don’t live here but want to insist on what lawyers insist? As if that’s relevant to what drug plugs push.
It’s Florida… Lol. I love MDMA. I can’t find that here. No cute Mario pills. Just white powder that goes by many names and it’s always smoked. Most people concede it’s not MDMA and it’s (insert random bullshit.) Lots of people acting like zombies on that shit. But Molly is the prevailing name for that shit. Some people smoking that shit out of plastic straws on the side of the road…
It really does vary by state. Like in Iowa, meth(ice, Crystal) is sometimes called shit but generally people call it poop because they’re trying to be polite.
Cabbage is God’s survival food. Cheap, durable, survives winter, ferments into sauerkraut after humanity inevitably ruins society again.
Broccoli is just God showing off. “What if I made tiny edible fractal trees packed with nutrients, then cursed children worldwide to reject it on sight?” Then spinach is like, I got Pop-eye, beer-itches. And then Barney is like, “beer is liquid bread.” -belch-
Hard is often crack, indeed. He said hard and I asked like a primo? Coke? He was like, “something like that. they call it molly usually, some call it flokka, sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s shit.” What I gathered is people preferred it when it smelled like formaldehyde, get that shit wet, they say…
It definitely had that numbing effect like crack. Shit also gave me mild mouth sores and a sore throat and like feeling faint like I’m going drop like a bag of bricks.
Never intentionally smoked embalming fluid but I recall the very distinct smell from funerals.

4·2 days agoCardiometabolic function isn’t the same as metabolic syndrome. Cardiometabolic function would be like a spectrum or perhaps a map. Metabolic syndrome would be the section of spectrum(say red in the rainbow) or area on the map (like a swamp) that designates the “danger zone.”
Here the term “optimal” is used and that’s around 7 percent as having optimal cardiometabolic function. That doesn’t instantly mean 93 percent are impaired. The other classes are **intermediate, which is half of people, ** and lastly poor which was ~44 percent.

Fat can be oxidized for ATP via β-oxidation (look up FAO or catabolism, or see above links.) Fat → fatty acids → β-oxidation → acetyl-CoA + electron carriers → electron transport chain → ATP.
Example: Palmitic acid, a 16-carbon fatty acid, undergoes 7 rounds of β-oxidation producing 8 acetyl-CoA total. After everything runs through the Krebs cycle and electron transport chain, you end up with roughly 106 ATP. Which is a huge amount compared with glucose(1 glucose is about 30 ATP.)
I’m aware molly tends to refer to MDMA. But you can’t get high from smoking mdma. Heat destroys it.
Around here (Florida) “molly” is typically a white powder that people either smoke out of a bubble(leaving the bubble black AF) or they roll it up with tobacco, sometimes weed in a blunt. Or maybe pinch out the end of a cigarette and replace with tobacco with the powder.
I accidentally tried some several years ago as it was mixed with weed so I thought it was just a weed blunt. The taste is fucking awful, though. I exclaimed this weed tastes like shit… Then the guy says, “yea, i put some hard on it.” I never heard of that in this context (people don’t smoke mdma.) And after further discussion he also called it molly and flokka(as have many others). And yea, people basically smoking Chinese bath salts along with random other shit. There’s no single formula. The Florida State Police have released test reports that have included fent, pcp, bath salts, crack, formaldehyde, other Chinese-sourced industrial chemicals, rat poison, plastic, dry wall, etc… nasty shit.
Then again there are people that insist it’s genuine MDMA and insist you can get high from smoking MDMA. But they’re smoking random bullshit, so obviously not very bright. Huge red flag. People that smoke that shit ain’t right in the head.

112·2 days agoYou aren’t making much sense though. It’s like if you took endocrine physiology and smashed it into a story about a single villain.
Weight gain is typically merely about CICO, barring rare genetic disorders. With an unimpaired metabolism, if you eat excess calories you will gain weight. No hormonal imbalance necessary. This is basic energy expenditure(Calories Out) to calories consumed(Calories In, thus CICO.)
Actual metabolic syndrome afflicts 30-40 percent of Americans. Not anywhere near 96 percent. Some people are just fat and diet and exercise will absolutely work metabolically to control their weight. Some people lack of willpower. Gastric bypass again proves that with caloric reduction their metabolism, in most cases, is fully capable of sustaining weight loss.
Cancer metabolism is also flexible. It does not exclusively depend on glucose and is not “starved” by removing carbs. Fats and amino acids are fair game for many cancers. Gluconeogenesis alone creates sufficient glucose to feed cancer.
4x is quite an exaggeration…

Come on those are at least 40 percent heated somewhat.
Flokka. They also call it molly. It’s uhm…a cocktail of stuff. Coke. Fent. Bath salts. Who knows. Often smells like formaldehyde. That’ll get you fucked up.
That’s where Mar-A-Lago face comes from!

Technology@lemmy.world•Russian official admits completely banning VPNs is 'simply impossible'English
1·4 days agoYou can use SOCKS instead of a VPN. SOCKS proxies allow arbitrary socket connections. You can use them for anything. The biggest difference is a VPN routes all(most) your traffic, whereas SOCKS are typically only used for specific(explicit) connections. Both other strong end-to-end encryption, obfuscating what you’re doing.
The good thing is the abundance of residential and mobile SOCKS proxies. So you look like a regular person on the Internet and you’re not using commercial IP ranges.

Hopefully it won’t be excessively bloody, but they seem to already be onboard with that. So it’ll probably become necessary.

Ya, sure, you’ve obviously never heard of gardia, tetanus, botulism, histoplasmosis, anthrax, E coli, salmonella, and the ever popular listeria. Plus you could pick up a party of parasites and worms.
Very pastoral. Very grounding. Touch grass, acquire necrotizing fasciitis.
