There should be a cap on how much wealth a person or corporation* is legally allowed to possess. Once their net worth hits $999,999,999.99, it triggers a plug at the bottom of their bank account to open, forever draining** every penny that attempts to exceed that maximum amount.
*Corporations included because they seem to claim all the rights of personhood

For the first time in years I have $5,000 in my bank account and nothing I need to buy at the moment, but I’m still frozen because I know I can’t spend it because I know I will eventually need it for something. Imagine feeling this on a billionaire scale. They just keep accruing more & more & they never give it to anyone who desperately needs it because they are hoarding it for some future selfish unknown purpose.
