I was watching it last night. Hero is at a guys night out party in a posh suburb.
He realizes that all these men have gotten as far as they possibly can. They’ve all got the big jobs and fancy houses, but they are all old enough to realize that they can’t live forever.
Now all they can do is spend money on things in hopes that it will make them feel better for a few seconds.
That was disturbing

But they all lined up when he won.

I’m a New Yorker and Trump dominated the local newspapers for years.
One of his biggest failures was losing about a billion trying to buy the Plaza hotel. Everyone in town knew he’d tanked, but he kept right on talking about how great he was.
Since you mentioned ‘The Art Of The Deal’ I’ll add that the actual writer got one of the best contracts in publishing history. He got his name on the cover and 50% of the royalties. After the book was done he ran as far from Trump as he could and spent the next few decades badmouthing him to anyone who’d listen.

On the other hand, he can’t pretend to be some coal miner or factory worker who had no other news source than Fox or OAN. He saw Trump up close and personal and knew exactly what Trump was.
I have a feeling the stuff Putin has on Trump makes Epstein look like wholesome.
And America will end up with a deal a thousand times worse than the one Obama got for giving the Iranians back their own money.

For the younger folks, Foster was a Clinton official who committed suicide after the 1992 election. He’d had a history of depression and his death was investigated by several agencies, all of who concluded that he’d taken his own life.
The GOP has been blaming his death on the Clintons for decades.
People knew he managed to bankrupt casinos in 2016 and still thought he could run a country.

Trump killed american troops to get a deal that’s worse than the one we already had.
