So the bad job numbers have nothing to do with AI anyways?
Hands up if you are surprised by this…
Why am i not seeing any hands???

I think you would, it would just have been di9fferent campaigns.

Doesn’t really fix anything as long as it’s a binary option, where all power goes to the winner.
To improve democracy in USA, USA needs a parliamentary system, that allows representation by many parties, and a majority in that system decides who forms the government, and also has the power to overturn the government.

There’s a 100% risk, because it already happened.
Except of course I’d argue the Hungary trip was a roaring success. 🤣

The one where you write I can read it here.

Your link doesn’t work.

It is when at the same time capitalism is demonized with comments like this:
Capitalism cannot be reformed
Much of Europe is social democratic, and that actually works very well by regulating capitalism to prevent exploitation.

When half of Europe had socialist leaders, that half of Europe was total shit authoritarian countries that oppressed the population, and prevented progress.

As I’ve stated dozens of times here on Lemmy already, American society is sociopathic. Valuing freedom over all else, and considering sociopathy the ultimate expression of freedom.
Trump is a symptom not the disease.
How the fuck is Linux a trap compared to the shenanigans of Microsoft?
Microsoft and other proprietary vendors are the trap, and Linux is the way to avoid it.

From the blog:
ONLYOFFICE is distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPL v3)
And
preserving ONLYOFFICE branding in derivative works;
IDK seems to me it’s not really GPL if you can’t fork it, and that clause is certainly not compatible with any other GPL code.
If they use any GPL code they are probably in violation of that license.
Looks to me like they want to appear opensource, while keeping control of the code?
ensure a balance between openness of the code and protection of the rights of the copyright holder.
Yep there it is, this is completely contradictory to how GPL 3 works. You can’t call it GPL3 and at the same time claim the copyright.
ONLYOFFICE is completely misunderstanding how AGPL works.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_Affero_General_Public_License
The main purpose of AGPL was to facilitate the use of GPL for online services, which wasn’t really possible to make with older GPL versions, because they require distribution of the source code together with the software.

Worldwide, democracy has regressed to its lowest levels since the mid-1970s
I’ve been saying over and over again here, that it’s generally been going backwards since the 70’s. This goes for democracy, respect for human rights and minorities, and the peace movement.
And many people here simply don’t believe it. (I’m guessing younger ones)

This too is false, great progress has been made on for instance solid state batteries.

Question is why they bought a Ring camera in the first place?
There is no way they can have been unaware that these gadgets can be accessed from outside.
But it was only when the evidence was put right in their face they finally connected the dots?
So my answer is quite simple: Because they are stupid, and bought a sleazy product from a known sleazy company, and when they found out it was in fact as sleazy as could be expected, they figured that maybe they didn’t want to to be voluntarily surveilled anyway.

The Crew’s servers, scheduled for Sunday March 31, represents a “gray area” in videogame consumer law that he would like to challenge.
…
I think the argument to make is that The Crew was sold under a perpetual license, not a subscription, so we were being sold a good, not a service
…
the seller rendered the game unusable and deprived it of all value after the point of sale.
Goddam right, that’s not a grey area IMO, that shit ought to be illegal. Maybe there should be a term, like let’s say 90 years maybe?
Like most of developed democracies in the rest of the world have been doing for 50 years!
