It’s absurd that you think so

You’re extremely lucky to be able to find a decent laptop for €100-€200
A laptop you only have to buy once is more of an economical choice than a political/ideological (???) one imo

For now. When or if Framework as a brand reaches normies (non-derogatory), I’m sure that’ll change

No :( I wish I could reproduce it more reliably but it seems a random. only thing more I can add is that it has 78% battery capacity, and I updated straight to 26.4.1 from 18.something

My iPhone 13, on iOS 26.4.1 often hangs when attempting to unlock the phone. No faceID unlock attempt (that I can see), nothing. I pick up my phone and/or swipe up the lockscreen and I’m stuck looking at my wallpaper with nothing else. I have to relock the phone and try again before I can use it. It’s extremely frustrating. I deeply regret updating from iOS 18
My iPhone 16 Pro Max does not have this issue

This author, and likely the whole publication, can be dismissed as they repeat the “bullet does not match the gun” lie over and over in the article.
To help clear up the misconception: While not having reviewed the ATF’s report on the bullet fragment examination, Robinson’s attorneys stated “the ATF was unable to identify the bullet recovered at autopsy to the rifle allegedly tied”.
His own lawyers weren’t even saying they didn’t match, just that the investigation didn’t conclusively (enough) prove they do (in their opinion)

I’m curious what friction they’re talking about. Except for the Saily ad in the middle, there no actual information about what they want changed and from what. My experiences switching eSIMS have all been seamless, but I’m still curious how extremely wealthy carrier companies fuck it up

It’s called suffering from success, and Apple, more than most companies, has a lot of experience with it.
The usual path (something every chipmaker does) is to just disable the ‘extra’ cores.
They could also sell higher spec’d Neos, but that would never happen before the midrange macbooks are refreshed because it would mess up Apple’s very carefully formulated pricing strategy

Almost as good as a macbook from 5 years ago, for only twice the price!
Oh no yeah, I don’t doubt you can find them. I was saying it’s absurd you don’t find yourself lucky. Also the idea that someone looking for a laptop has to be looking for the absolute bare minimum, technically usable laptop. In that narrow scope, Framework (and also every other manufacturer) doesn’t make sense
