The current wealth imbalance is orders of magnitude worse, the twisted and morally bankrupt ruling class shows even more naked contempt for us than any king ever did, and feudalism never threatened to make the entire planet uninhabitable. I agree and have made that same argument about how technology has made things different now.
Nevertheless, feudalism is the enslavement of the population, whether it’s done with swords and pikes, or whatever the fuck we have going on here which is a lot worse.
