When several explosions went off, I was in the street. A man and his dog approached the scene—sometimes ahead of the blast, sometimes behind it.
They watched the explosions, and I watched them.
Everything happened so fast—like life, like death.
This is Iran, still under the shadow of war, where people and and their animals, powerless to choose, are condemned to survive and carry on.
