        Not really, they just need to embrace wind and stop adopting American policies. They were fine in the EU.

          This isn’t just about oil. Petroleum is needed for a fuck ton of commodities, fertilizer is a big one and planting season started right before the blockade for a lot of the world. This will effect the price of food significantly and it will be reflected in british politics. We don’t just need petroleum to run cars and factories, we need petroleum to eat and produce a plethora of chemical components necessary for critical manufacturing processes. This isn’t even including the cost of shipping and with the way our production chains work in the modern day a raise in shipping costs can effect the price of a commodity at multiple stages of production causing a compounded effect. Starmer is worried for a good reason. The whole world is worried, there just isn’t much they can do about it.
