A bit frustrated, to be honest.
It’s always a bloody chore to extract meaningful pieces of info from my mum, and so far I had to do it this week multiple times: asking her if my sis is going to dine with us tomorrow or lunch with us Sunday, which bills she wants me to pay (she has a bit of a hard time with online payment), which dishes she wants me to prepare, stuff like this.
It could be worse, I guess. At least I didn’t need to ask her directions.
And speaking about old ladies, my 17yo cat has also been extra annoying. Kika decided to rummage my recyclables bin, as if it was a toybox. For the sake of an empty cigs pack. And then went “MEEERRRRWWWOOOON MEEEWWWWRRROOWWWN” = “I finds hunts!”, three o’clock of the morning, in one of the few days my sleep schedule was normal. Then the other day she decided to hop onto my bed, found Siegfrieda (the other cat) sleeping on my belly, and picked a fight with her. Over me.
It’s been a long, tedious week, but today is a bit exciting - if all goes well, I’ll have a new, functioning washer/dryer for the first time in months.
Editors note: I do not have the new washer/dryer yet. Cleverly forgot to order the stacking kit along with it, so we have to reschedule :(
Couldn’t believe it has been… what, 4-5 weeks that I have not been feeling well. Last few days I had noticeably worse cold symptoms & really struggled to do much outside of work. Allegedly a few ppl at work reported having a cold 1-2 weeks ago too, so it could just be a really nasty virus floating around. No idea what caused the extended sickness… either my immune system got impaired after getting COVID, or some type of Autism burnout, hopefully nothing worse
On the plus side, the cherry blossoms and the bluebell flower blooms are happening, so I’ll be keeping my weekends flexible for that
Not great, not terrible. Allergies and low sleep, but decently productive both on and off work. Mixed bag week in the truest sense. That said, can’t wait for it to finish.
