I was responding in a thread about this whole pop music is a psy-op trend… and I think my response was “always has been” as in the astronaut meme… but I’m old and not hip and put a bunch of parentheses around it and it triggered a moderator bot to write me up about hate speech. so naturally I appealed it because Reddit is my life and my entire identity.
In the morning my appeal was denied by a real human being, apparently. it took me until I was halfway through my morning cup of Joe to remember the whole parentheses thing. Do they still do that? I thought it was a brief fad maybe even when it was still called TWITTER?
but then when l realized what i had actually said, i thought it was kinda Brittany level brilliant.
