The salad oil scandal, also referred to as the soybean scandal, was an American major corporate scandal in 1963 that caused over $180 million ($1.89billion today) in losses to corporations including American ExpressBank of America and Bank Leumi, as well as many international trading companies.

      If it turns out that some of the big datacentres they’re building have just a few real servers near the front and the rest of the racks are all filled with cheap space heaters, that will be a twist.
