OK, what’s the alternative that has supportive clinic data? Will my job tolerate me stopping SSRI, then calling out of work 3 or 4 times a week because I’d rather think about killing myself and others, can’t sleep because of anxiety, or can’t drive because I have panic attacks? Because that was my life before SSRI, when I was still young enough to lean on family while figuring out medication. My family is old now and cannot support another adult with untreated mental illness, they’ve got 2 already who don’t work and won’t take meds to treat their shit.
