BTW, Cervantes was a fascinating guy. He was a war veteran, spend some time in jail, was kidnapped by pirates and spend 5 years as a hostage in Algeria and only wrote Don Quijote when he was 58 years old. It was old for 1605 and since he was diabetic that should have been it, unexpected success at the very end of his life. But no, he lived 10 more years and published second part one year before his death. In the second part most characters read the first book and Don Quijote constantly meets his huge fans.
