While I understand the reason for the court to protect the commercial interests, I do not agree on this method. It’s a brittle floodgate to start blocking one kind of content and then another and then another. I fear it may drive people to rely on untrustworthy DNS from bad actors, opening up for intelligence and security problems en masse for EU citizens in particular. If I was in Russian, Chinese, Iranian or Israeli cyber warfare I’d already have plans ready for this scenario to be rolled out at prime time.
