There was a post in the Chevy bolt subreddit recently that asked why anyone would buy the bolt over some other fancier evs, then proceeded to list features* like that. And all the responses were like yeah that’s why we didn’t get those other cars. The bolt is cheap* small and has decent range, everything else those other cars have like bigger screens are annoyances in a commuter

I love my Bolt! It has just the right amount of “smart” features, and few enough of them that they stay out of the way.
