It’s so fucked that this is as far left as you can vote, first past the post is mental. Over here I can vote for the socialist alliance party or the animal justice party and actually have it count for something.
As an Australian looking at the US political system, it is fucked in a way that voting can never fix. It simply isn’t a democracy in anything other than name.
Over here I can vote for someone other than the two major parties and my vote will actually count for something. In the USA you’re basically throwing your vote in the bin unless you vote for horrible party A or slightly less horrible party B.

I never said it couldn’t be done, hell, I’ve done it myself. Try being a human and asking me what my actual argument or suggested approach is, try re-reading what I actually said rather than assuming it is X just so you can dunk on it.
Max TDP is completely irrelevant, that is about cooling capacity which completely sucks in a laptop, hence the chip limit. The relevant factor for a server is idle power draw at the wall outlet.
For my servers I get second hand dell / hp / mini pcs for peanuts. Sips power, still work fine, still going strong, upgradeable storage etc. Second hand laptops of the same era are now useless ewaste.
This has been their MO for time immemorial. Make windows shit, right up to the line where people will leave. Only discover where the line actually is after they’ve stepped over it, then backpedal just enough to stem the exodus and keep people locked in. Repeat.

Pick any laptop model you like and search for “how to remove battery” or look up the model on ifixit. Show me a single one where the battery cannot be removed. I’ll wait.
Batteries are more problematic sitting at full charge than when they are empty. You’re also paying money for features you don’t use (battery, screen, keyboard) and have less ability to upgrade, repair, or add storage.
By all means if you have an old spare laptop lying around use it as a server, I usually take the battery out though.
The battery backup is a more of a liability than a benefit imo, will just turn into a spicy pillow eventually. Especially considering any power loss will hit your router/network too rendering the server’s battery moot. The only thing a laptop battery really protects against is accidental temporary unplugging.

Hmm, you could try a shift-F5 on the page just in case something has gone screwy with the caching. Otherwise try hitting F12 (firefox application menu->more tools->web developer tools) and copy paste some of the console logs or errors that you see so I can tell what is going on.

Possible but I think it might be even worse than touch controls. Also as a browser game it might not have permission to lock your screen orientation so the game might end up rotating and flipping while you play.
Do you get the progress bar at all or does it not show up?
On android it can take a long time for it to first load without much feedback, as it has to decompress some binary stuff. Maybe give it a little longer. But honestly maybe just wait to play it on a computer as the touchscreen controls kinda suck anyway (sorry).
In case it doesn’t ever load, what version of android and firefox? Android 13 and firefox 150.0 works for me.

Celyk is better at the game than I am despite the ridiculous number of hours I’ve spent testing it during development. Unfortunately I know him and he’s just that good so I’ve got no excuse.
Deep fissure has an increased level of detail to fix some visible holes in the geometry, so that level is more performance heavy than the other ones.
3D browser games are generally less performant than running natively, and as you noticed unfortunately chrome is faster than firefox. The game still runs ok on my 2016 thinkpad with an igpu, though I have to turn off the vhs shader and drop the render scale to 0.5x.
Yeah touch screen is there to make it more accessible but it isn’t the ideal way to play. You can also plug in (or bluetooth) a gamepad and it will work.
It’s literally a screenshot of the game, try one of the city based levels, or try the “deep fissure” level if you mean the bright daytime picture.
Basically I think the Australia can be saved by the people voting but I don’t think the USA system can. We have some problem with gerrymandering in the lower and upper houses, voting is not exactly proportional because of that, but there are actually minor parties and independents sitting in parliament and holding the balance of power. Just this last week the governing Labor party is trying to pass budget and tax reform, which they can only do by getting the leftist Greens party to vote with them. This tax reform shifts taxation away from income and onto assets such as property and shares to make things more equitable.
We have our problems, sure, but an unchallenged head of state and a failing democracy is not one of them. If conservatives or centrists are in government here it’s because the Australian people voted for them, and every person’s vote counted via preference flows if their #1 choice didn’t make it in. If conservatives or centrists are in government in the USA it’s because there was literally nobody else to vote for.
You also vote for the party here, not the prime minister, and the party can throw out their prime minister any time they want. Or the governor general can fire them. Both of these things have actually happened in recent times. As far as I’m aware, Nixon after watergate was the only president to actually lose office and he resigned rather than getting thrown out.
