Great. I’d always visit China happily, but wouldn’t visit the USA, even if I would be paid to do so.

True. I haven’t even seen that it already released, and yes, it looks very good.
Also true for wow…though there are still many players. Interestingly, as nothing much did change over the last, I dunno, 500 years since its release
Weird terminals but ok. I actually even like vim
I actually just assume marketing to sell 5m copies. As I don’t consume social media or YouTube I have no idea.
But even if that sounds impressive then, it’s still no index for quality IMHO. Buuuut consideting that it’s already released and reviews look good my point is worthless here.
As it uses denuvo I haven’t checked myself yet. When they remove it it’s an instant purchase.
It (well, vi, which vim is a clone of) has been designed to be a possible interface on a keyboard that doesn’t have arrow keys or other modifier keys than shift.
That sounds great and all, but in the last 40yrs I have not owned (or seen…) A keyboard like that. For whom the heck was this useful? 😁
Not mocking, I do use vim or nano, but also never got why it had to be so incredibly unintuitive.
Kinda true. But also depends. A shitty game selling 5mio and retaining 5% is worse than a great game selling 100k and retaining 50%
I’m extremely fast at math, but horribly bad, so…just assume the numbers match the point 😁
But yes of course. For an online game, sales can give a rough estimate of success.

Hush! Behave you subversive element! Only evil people won’t use official appstores!
Who cares for sales? You can sell dried colored assholes to people with enough marketing. That’s rarely a good index for anything. Except you’re a shareholder.

Probably more in the realm of 99.999%. Without exaggeration. Some countries even use WhatsApp for government shit.
So sad, why would anyone freely use WA at all. People use tech without the slightest critique. Pure consumers…

I do trust Chinese a lot more than muricans. And don’t use any american product (to my current knowledge).

I’d say that are a looooot more 😒
🤔 hmmmmm

Great times, but…nowadays I would go nuts if I had to put a cassette in and wait for what felt like 5yrs to learn it was the wrong one…
I grew very impatient 😁
Depends. Is the turtle made of wood?
Simple. One can be thrown into water and it’ll be OK. The other…not so much.

I’m old enough to remember using cassette tapes and a monochrome monitor 😁

No thanks. I had like 20 sonos speaker, and then, one day, sonos decided to fuck the app up, making it impossible to use my library anymore. This was the day I sold them all, ranted like a pissed off babuskha and never thought of buying similar products ever but make my own.
Real open source or go fork yourself in the eye. I’m so done with this corpo-crapshit
I never thought anyone needing an editor would use such devices for it. But OK, that makes total sense for those.
